1) A website that sells only “green” products; such as: recycled paper, boxes, packages, wood, bottles, car parts, computer parts, phones, etc. The site would sell anything that has been used before and can be reuseable in some way.
2) A website that accesses all sorority/fraternity philanthropic services. Every Sorority and Fraternity has a philanthropy, which is the act of donating money, goods, time, or effort to support a charitable cause. A website would access all of the different philanthropies and different ways to donate to them.
Does anyone have other ideas to stem from these and if not how do these sound. Can they help change the world?

hey mal,
i really think you can do something cool with the second idea. It would be interesting to have representatives from all the sororities and fraternities create their own 3 x 3 inch square in which they can design (or draw, collage) some of the things that they’re responsible for through their philanthropic work.
I really like the website idea. It would be nice to have the informative aspect of the site in addition to providing the person solutions by offering them recycled materials.

I really like the first idea, one it’s environmental friendly and two it’s a good cause to recycle. I think to further execute this idea is maybe you can add ways and ideas to use these products. Like take for instance, if you’re selling a bottle (coke glass bottle), you could use it to drink, for a vase for flowers, or even a coin deposit/ piggy bank. Something like that would encourage your audience to view your site over and over again just for ideas. Hope this helped a little!
I really feel that the “green” idea is a very good one. People now a days want to do what they can to make the world a better place and even by buying organic products they are doing their part. What would be a good idea is to somehow find scientific examples on how “green” products are better for the environment and show that they still clean just as well.
I like the Philanthropy website idea. Philanthropies are a great way to raise money for charitable causes as you said, and this website could help fraternities and sororities communicate with other chapters and colonies on one philanthropic event, in turn raising more money for the cause. Over time popularity of this website could grow into something really amazing and powerful. For example all fraternities and sororities working together raising money for one large cause (I.e. your first idea “green” products and bettering the environment. Just something for you to think about!
